Remember how I blogged about the shoes I bought my boyfriend for Christmas? Well, he bought me a pair of shoes I’ve been eyeing for a whole year – and managed to convince me to do an early tradesies sans gift wrapping and all that fun stuff. I know it sounds bad, but look how beautifully weird these Trippens are!!! I’ll be wearing them religiously for the next few years of my life, mark my words.

Today was a very exciting day. I managed to convince my handsome and well-dressed boyfriend Justin Escutin to start a style blog to help make noise around his up-and-coming clothing line +Wolfe. Typically, it’d take approximately four weeks to think of a name for said blog, but this one just popped into my head causing me to exclaim in excitement over how crafty I am. We named it WEARWOLFE. Get it?! It’s like “werewolf”, but with WEAR and the clothing line’s name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pat on the back, Bianca. Pat on the back.

Anyhow, it’s all up and running with one post from today, including better shots of Justin’s outfit, so click here for soon-to-come life-changing times and don’t forget to follow him on Bloglovin. Pretty please!

Now onto my part of the post! This morning while getting ready to run errands all day, Justin and I unintentionally cross-coordinated our outfits, leaving only one obvious option for our lives: take corny couple photos like the kind you see on Tumblr every other day on that random 14-year-old girl’s blog you follow for whatever reason. So here you have it, couple-y photos courtesy of Erixon Bernardo, who was either completely comfortable shooting us all lovey-dovey or was really good at hiding that he wasn’t. Thanks Young Erx for taking one for the team.

I wore a new top I got at Aritzia with abnormally deep gussets. I love it so much! It’s perfect for layering or being lazy all day. This time around I avoided the whole rolled-out-of-bed look and put on a sweater I DIY’d to be cropped a la Alexander Wang. I told you I was crafty!

Well that’s all for now! Toodle-loooooooo!!!

For the last little while now I’ve been working closely with my friends Michael Nyarkoh, Erixon Bernardo, and my boyfriend Justin Escutin to help develop their up-and-coming menswear brand +Wolfe. I asked Michael to write my blog post because I’m too busy to do it myself:

Wha gwan yutes and waste mans. It’s ya girl B Major AKA BLANCO KILLAH AKA YUNG MEAN MUGGIN QUEEN OF THE GUTTA. I just came back from stuntin’ on the yung hoes and crushing like 3 whole spreads via some herb ass’ tumblrs. Like this is how I live nah mean. Lately I’ve been expanding my black, grey, and white clothing selection so I can throw something on early in the morning hassle-free and end up looking like a super cool Japanese man or sassy Dracula or something. It looks especially awesome when you mix different textures together, like I did here with the slub tank and patent shoes.

Below, there’s a photo of my boyfriend Justin looking a little uncomfortable holding my clear purse while I’m testing the lighting on my camera. I assure you camera fright is not at all the reason behind his discomfort – I’ve photographed him as my model many times before. It’s because I turn into an evil witch as soon as outfit photos need to be taken.

First, I’ll sit him on my bed while I gut my entire closet. After showing him many different clothing options, I’ll make snarky remarks at whichever one he choses and get angry that he’s not well-versed in women’s fashion when I’ve made it a point to learn the ins and outs of menswear for him. I’ll give him a little speech and finally choose something to wear. Then I’ll have a few seconds of deceiving happiness until the camera’s pointed at me and I’m blinking or half-blinking in all of the shots. I’ll get so frustrated I’ll turn red and stomp around like a child. At this point, Justin will be trying to cheer me up by petting me or giving my a hug but then I’ll just yell at him for babying me even though I’m clearly being a baby.

After a while he’ll manage to make me laugh or calm me down, then catch me in the moment. We’ll finally head home hand in hand into the setting sun while soft piano plays in the background and “And they lived happily ever after… The end” pans across the scene. I honestly don’t know how he puts up with me and my peculiar needs but I’m glad he does! Justin if you’re reading this, you’re stuck with me… MUAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHHHAHAHAHAA.

Oh hey, fancy meeting you here. Do you come here often? Probably not, I only just started posting again! Ha-ha I am so comical. Anyway, it’s pretty much Christmas break so I am FREE from the stresses of classes and PRISONER to the stresses of work, writing, photography, blogging, and design!!! Those are my favourite things.

Anyway, if you’ve been around these parts at all, you’ll have noticed that I’ve already done not one but two #MarcTheDot x Lookbook.nu collaboration posts over the past few months. This is my final look, and probably my favourite one, too! Unfortunately for me, I’ll never get to actually wear this outside of my living quarters. The top is not really the most practical thing ever; it’s thrown together using tin foil and scotch tape. Maybe one day I will have the time to purchase real sequins to sew on a mesh tank, but we all know this is never going to happen. I have so many DIY ideas dancing around in my head that they can do one of those fun flash mobs amidst the other busy thoughts in there. What am I even talking about right now?

Moving forward. I paired it with a new pair of shorts I got at Aritzia, and a lazy cardigan my boyfriend bought me at American Apparel. I’m also wearing my favourite boots of all time, soon to be replaced by the three new pairs of shoes I got at the Solestruck sale!!! I am being so bad with my money lately. But it’s the Holidays, so I am allowed.

Looking back on this post I’m realizing I’m the most scatter-brained person on the face of the planet. Just kidding, there are probably people worse than me. God bless their souls.
