As an avid shoe shopper and a not-so-avid practical shoe shopper, I often find myself asking the same age-old question: what shoes do I wear with this fun outfit that won’t make me look like a child’s mix matched Barbie doll? I then proceed to answer this question by picturing shoes I do not own in my head, swooning over their unattainable beauty, sighing, and then throwing on an awkward pair of t-straps or uncomfortable kitten heels.
Needless to say, today was one of those days. Here are the pairs of shoes I cried over this morning, for I am a broke college student who can only afford about a third of their cost. No need to tell me they’d look amazing.

(from left to right) Dries Van Noten – $574, Prada – $513 (and that’s on sale)
Anyway, I’m desperate to fill the hole that these transparent sandals managed to dig in my soul, so I did some vigorous googling. I think I’ll be settling for one of these! Footwear itch relieved… For now.

(from left to right) F-TROUPE – $199, Deena & Ozzy – $69
