I’ve been taking a lot of editorial-style photos recently. For lack of other things to blog about, I’m going to post some of them here!

Thanks to photography course requirements including contribution to a blog, I already wrote a description for the following three photos. Here it is:

Despite the ungodly hour these photos were taken (as in less than a few minutes ago… as in midnight on a monday), I couldn’t help but act impulsively once inspiration had slapped me in the face and took me hostage. I took the following photos with a Nikon Coolpix P80 and photoshopped some of my Instagram shots into them. I realize it’s obscene to be using a crappy, pseudo DSLR combined with a wannabe Polaroid iPhone app in order to imitate an effect delivered best in analog photography, but I quite frankly do not have the time or the talent to be fiddling with film.

I was inspired by this editorial in Vogue Hommes Japan, so I proceeded to dress my boyfriend up in my clothes and photograph him to look like sleeping beauty or a masculine fairy of sorts. He’s a good sport, I’d say.
