Despite having a million and one things to do in the next month *cough* Kastor & Pollux capsule collection launch party *cough*, I put my graphic design skills to use and placed triangles on my outfit photos today. Groundbreaking, isn’t it?
If you’re interested at all, I’ll have you know that all of Danielle and I’s graphic design/web design/life skills are deeply rooted in the 8-hours-of-straight-Neopets-gaming of our pasts. We’ve vocalized this gratitude for Neopets many times before – if not for the days upon days spent editing our pets’ profile pages, hustling in the Neopian Marketplace, and collecting Neopoints via daily routine, we wouldn’t be qualified and/or diligent enough to edit our website (all by ourselves!) to create a grounded brand identity, source appropriate materials to offer our handmade products at a profitable but reasonable cost, and consistently update our blogs to generate traffic from our readers. I’m not trying to brag here, but I think Neopets set us up for some great things.
Should you be one of the sad, sad souls who didn’t have a chance to obsess over Neopets like we did, you still have time!!! Get on over there RIGHT NOW and increase your chances of being successful in the future. Thank you and goodbye.

Cooler than neopets? (I was one of the deprived that has not enjoyed it/them so I can’t be sure-my skills were limited to making a paper flipbook tamagotchi)

Love this look, this is too pretty! And Neopets started everything I know about HTML/CSS as well! Small world! I spent HOURS on there as a kid to the point where my dad set up those annoying parental blocks that cut us off after 15 hours, lol!
